A great home for your cat or dog. They are very kind and caring. Rooms are heated for the cold winter days and they are cleaned daily. Get all the vaccinations for your furry friend. Because they are a bit strict about it. Book in advance for the holidays season.
Some years ago, me and my family went on vacation and we decided to left our so beloved dog with only 2 years at that time at this pet hotel. It went ok. We decided to do repeat that the next year where it all went downhill. The second year, after me and my family returned from vacation we went to pick up our dog and he looked a totally different dog. Scared when we would pet him, as if we were gonna hit him (thing that never happened), he always seemed sad and afraid we were gonna do something. its been 5y and my dog (a pug who’s really sweet) still shows some signs of fear whenever other people other than me and my family pet him. Unfortunately until this day we don’t know what happened, but please search for places that are pet friendly when you go on vacation or seek people who are trustworthy to take care of your pet, because you can never guess what happens in this type of places.
Very bad experience. First of all, upon arriving i hear all the dogs sounding so sad and lonely, being isolated in their own rooms. Lots of dogs howling in loneliness. My dog immediately felt scared to enter. In their website it says they only get 30mins of time outside, 2x a day. The rest of the day they are alone in their closed rooms. Second of all, they were not able to accept my dog because of their own fault, left me desperate for an alternative as I fly out of the country the same day. I booked a dog hotel 3 weeks before I need to leave, and sent them all the documents and papers that my dog has for them to check if all good and to let me know if there’s anything else i need to prepare. I’ve arrived and they told me my dog is missing one vaccine that is not mandatory but dog hotels require it, so they can’t take my dog. They did not check and reply to my email, as they said normally they would. Was a very stressful day to find this out on the day of my flight all because they were not diligent with their bookings and responsibilities. The Portuguese woman that didn’t speak English wasn’t very apologetic with this incident. Happy to not have continued to bring my dog here. Read the other reviews, they say the same..
Nice!
