The Quinta D'Alcateia team is terrific!! They are fluent in Portuguese and communicate in English as well, providing regular updates and reassurance. We are deeply grateful for their professional care, thoughtfulness and personal touch in taking care of Quita, our purebred German Shepherd. This was her first pet hotel experience in Portugal. The place is spacious and beautiful. Looks like our dog has found a 'home away from home', and will be boarding here in the future. Muito obrigada.

My dog stayed 3 days at Quinta da Alcateia had a wound on his leg. They said “it’s from laying”. Besides that they were ignoring restrictions based on his health conditions, such as not to use collar and not let him run with other dogs, they were not answering messages or phone calls and not sending updates, we had to go and take the dog back earlier and good that we did. The dog was stressed, scared and exhausted. I’m strongly advising everyone to avoid their “services”.

Thank you so much for taking care of Izzy for a week. We were very concerned after having a negative experience with another dog hotel, but the team took amazing care of her. The process from start to finish was very professional and we felt very comfortable knowing she was in a safe environment. She came home happy and healthy and we will definitely be using the service again.

I'm new in town and was nervous about already leaving my dog/ finding a new doggie hotel for us. The team at Quinta d'Alcateia immediately made me feel at ease as soon as I was I contact with them (by whatsapp). They were responsive, helpful, friendly & professional. My dog is home now, very happy & clearly well taken care of/ loved. I'm so grateful 🙏

Excelente acompanhamento dos patudos. No caso da minha menina que foi adotada e que estávamos com receio das suas reações, porque o serviço prestado já conhecíamos, sabíamos que o cuidado é excecional, o acompanhamento também. Ficámos muito contentes e a nossa menina continua bem! Bem hajam.
